2021 Dakar Preview
The 43rd edition of Dakar is set for January 3rd to January 15th in Saudi Arabia. The rally brings raid riders and drivers through a total of several thousand kilometers. Each day has one stage and one "special stage" (the timed portion) that can be several hundred kilometers long. Racers navigate using roadbooks that are given at the start of each stage. Austin Jones is joining the Monster Energy Can Am team this year and hoping to follow in the footsteps of Casey Currie and Ricky Brabec as American Dakar champions.
