Tensor Tire Goes To Baja Portalegre 500
In early October we saw the South Racing Monster Energy Can Am team put on a strong race at the new Andalucia Rally in Villamartin, Spain not too far from Seville. Now in November and the team is gearing up for the Baja Portalegre 500 that will cross the Municipalities of Portalegre, Municipality of Ponte de Sor, Abrantes, Alter do Chão, Crato, Fronteira, Gavião, Monforte, Nisa and Sousel.
Events begin Friday November 6th that will kick off with a 5km Prologue near Portalegre and will move west to the city of Ponte-de-Sor for a 86km long SS2. The next day will be the big race that consists of two long sections: A 170km SS3 and a 180 SS4. Racers should expect very hard and dusty in the dry areas and very slippery conditions in the “rain sensitive” areas.
Aron Domzala will be piloting the Monster Energy Can-Am while and South Racing is expected to run six additional cars and will be using a Method Race Wheels and Tensor Tire combo.
